Herbal womb care for beauty inside out
Earlier this week, I received a complimentary session of herbal womb care therapy massage at True Beauty. As some of you know, I enjoy their natural facial services as I do see immediate visible difference after each session. And I later found out that besides the efficacy of their products, the key reason why their facials are able to deliver effective results is because Susan uses a combination of massage techniques involving lymphatic drainage and activating the meridian energy points to promote blood circulation and remove toxins from within the skin.
Meridian energy test to determine state of health
Her latest herbal womb care therapy massage also employs massage techniques to activate the meridian energy points and keep the womb healthy. I’m not sure about the state of my womb. My guess is, it isn’t exactly fantastic since I gave birth six years ago but I also hadn’t actually thought I needed such a therapy. However, my skin suddenly broke out badly this week and Susan suggested that it could be due to a hormonal imbalance. Anyway, to determine this, she conducted a meridian energy test complete with a detailed computerized analysis on me to determine my state of health. The results didn’t figure very well and some of the analysis were pretty spot on too. It appears that I have some internal blockages that needed to be cleared and a herbal womb therapy massage might work for me.
Some pain felt at areas of blockage
For the massage, I had to strip down to the disposable undies given to me because the massage utilizes a herbal cream. The session lasted an hour where the therapist did a deep tissue massage on my tummy area while explaining the process as well as my problem areas. It was pretty relaxing but at areas where I had blockages, I did feel some pain.
Herbal cream used to balance hormone production
Meditrina Ageless Herbal Cream was used in the massage to alleviate hormone imbalance symptoms. This product contains chasteberry, fenugreek, wild yam root and grapeseed extracts, and said to be clinically proven to mimic the positive effects of our hormones on our body and skin. Besides being used on my tummy, the cream was also rubbed on the sides of my breasts and my inner arms to enhance absorption as it is supposed to work internally to balance the progesterone, estrogen and prolactin hormone production. I ran a search on the Net and found that this formulation is used to help treat irregularities of the menstrual cycles, premenstrual complaints, and menopausal disorders.
Experienced menstruation right after therapy
I was told that I might experience some discomfort after the therapy and right after I got home, the first thing I noticed were stains on my panties. In fact, I started menstruating again the next day even though I had just completed my cycle about a week ago. I also felt the usual PMS cramps. While I was surprised, I wasn’t alarmed as my cycle this month wasn’t of the usual volume and I believe the massage had cleared some blockages in my womb and pushed out whatever was stuck within.
Blockages are unhealthy
I actually felt quite good about this because I understand that blockages in the womb isn’t a good thing as it can possibly lead to fibroids or more complications later. Hence, I’ll most probably continue with this treatment and hope it’ll help to balance my hormones and also improve my skin condition. I also got hopeful after I met another customer at True Beauty who told me her skin condition improved after she underwent two sessions of the herbal womb care therapy massage!
Cost and suitability
The herbal womb care therapy massage cost S$168 each session but I was told that existing customers at True Beauty enjoy a lower price. You may also purchase the cream separately for home use if you like and the cost is around S$170+ if I recall correctly. Interested parties can call True Beauty at 6836 5775 to find out more. Such a therapy is not only for those who are only thinking of conceiving and wants to improve the health of their womb; this therapy would also suit those who have some form of internal imbalance or intestinal obstructions and are keen to improve their health and beauty from inside out. But if you have reservations regarding TCM practices or are not uncomfortable with a womb massage, then this is definitely not suitable for you.

Wow…its kind of ex. But I guess, if it works, why not? Especially for those who wants desperately to conceive.
I suppose it’s an alternative treatment for those who have exhausted all avenues and are still not able to conceive. I’m not sure if it’ll definitely help one conceive though…probably depends on individual.
I have a friend who just had a surgery to remove some cysts in her womenly parts (not sure of the details though), do you think this massage therapy would be good for her? Thinking of getting one as a gift for her. Can it be done soon after the surgery or should there be some gap between the surgery and massage? if you can, do provide some more info on the after of the therapy. thanks.
Wow! Sounds Great, thanks for sharing:)
i do believe that it works, it’s just like the rationale behind eating primrose capsules and bak fong capsules for female health which will bring about better skin.
I believe in TCM and all the theories and concept of blockages, etc. But don’t think True Beauty has a branch in Malaysia? There are many places which claim to be offering such, but I am always quite wary of it.
If she just had a surgery, I wouldn’t recommend cos she definitely need some time to heal internally. The massage uses some amount of strength (like how they would massage your back) so it’s definitely not suitable at this stage if she has just had her surgery. But she can do it once she’s past the healing stage – although I’m not certain how long. Maybe a couple of months? But she’s open to the idea of such massages, it might be beneficial for her.
You’re welcome! ? Actually, if you can get hold of the cream, that can also help with hormone balancing. Much like the wild yam cream I mentioned to you before.
Yup, I believe they’re all inter-related. But those who want to undergo such a massage must be comfortable with the idea first.
No, unfortunately they’re only in Singapore. I know what you mean…got to be careful where you do this.
hmmm i would be pretty interested in this but the price is pretty steep! and unlike facial products where i might prefer to just buy the products and apply myself, i think the massage by the therapist would be the key factor towards effectiveness.
still, it’s very interesting! i’ve been looking for these TCM-related places and i didn’t know True Beauty was along those lines..
thanks for the reply.
about the wild yams creams, have you actually tried any of them on LT basis?
any good brands to recommend?
about the massage, do you know of other places that do good TCM massages? thinking about getting some for my stomach areas as my digestive system is weak.
Yeah, Ingredients look great but where can I find the complete list?
I would say both – the product and the massage has to work hand in hand. Yeah Susan is trained in TCM and she has the East meets West sort of concept. This is a relatively new treatment she just introduced.
Nope, never tried. Last time when I used to go to this organic shop at Chinatown (Kim Leng store), the owner introduced me to Jason Natural Wild Yam Cream. The price was around S$80 but a few of his customers said good things about it. But I didn’t think I needed it then so I didn’t get.
For TCM massages, you might want to try Yu Yang Shan Clinic. I went to the one at Tiong Bahru for my back massage before and it wasn’t too bad. But I forgot how much it cost. Actually True Beauty’s womb massage also treats tummy ailments cos I’ve got some blockages in my intestines too.
Check out this link.
Wow. I never even heard of such massage before. I would really love to try it but unfortunatelly I don’t think that I’ll be able to get it where I live.
Thank you for sharing. Very interesting post!
You’re welcome. I suppose such treatments are more common in Asia because of the TCM connections.
I did the test and yes, my results weren’t good which I agree as my TCM doc had previously already told me that my hormones were imbalance.
I’ve gone for several sessions of the tummy, back and head massage already and have been using the cream on my own at home.
I do feel some difference, appetite more in control. My skin also seems to be better. I’m still observing but so far I’m feeling positive abt it.
Oh it’s good to know you’re doing the massage and using the cream too and feeling positive about it. I think I’ll then continue with a few more sessions. I didn’t get the cream though…thinking of getting it cos I think it makes a difference.
As you can see, i have ovarian cyst. I wonder if such treatment is useful for me. Currently eating diane 35. Hormonal imbalance will really cause acne! Women are so pathetic. Got to face such catastrophe if we have hormonal imbalance.
Yes, it’s crazy! First PMS and then later hormonal imbalance…I just said the same thing to a colleague the other day – tough being a woman!
I can’t vouch that the treatment will help in terms of ovarian cyst but it might help to some extent. You’ll need some persistence though. Btw, do you take a lot of soy stuff? I wrote about this the other day that some food, supposedly good for us women like evening primrose oil or soya bean or beancurd can promote more problems for us.
This post is invaluable. When can I find
out more?
