Flower powered fashion shoes
Earlier in the month I featured the 2008 fashion trends and I mentioned flower power as one of them. I was specifically referring to apparel in that entry but there’s also a fun dimension to add to this trend through accessories such as shoes, especially if you do not want an overdose of floral prints on your body. Depending on your personal preference, you can pick footwear with a little flower detail or one with more floral patterns or prints.
To give you an idea, here are four picks from Heels.com:

If you want floral fun but not an entire foot of flowers, this shoe is sure to have you doing the tango! The Spanish inspired Orange Coyote Sandal by Mink is an arousing pump. A strong wooden 4 inch heel, accented lace straps, and cute polka dot lining are topped off with just one polka dot flower.

This Brown Bloom Pump by MIA is sure to bloom each time you wear it. This lovely brown patent pump features a tailored print trim, a chunky 3 3/4 inch heel and lovely patent flower also detailed with the same tailored trim. Totally suitable for corporate wear if you ask me.

Alternatively, you can wear this comfortable Olive Floral Flat from Corso Como which has a very earthy floral feel. With a leather upper and detailed floral pattern they have a very graceful, natural feel.
Bottom right:
Or feel totally feminine in this floral print Black Tristan Wedge from Report. A black mesh upper features a floral detail with black leather details in the trim, back and adorable maryjane strap accented with a silver buckle finished with a 3 3/4 cork wedge heel and 1/2 inch cork platform.
So there you go. Flower powered fashion shoes. And how much or how little floral details is really up to you!

I enthusiastically agree with everything you said! And even though I love high heels, I really wish I had more shoes between the 4-inches and ballet flats. You gave a excellent summery on fashion shoes. I love fun colors.
